Nights have come easier to the two-tailed fox lately - especially due to how quiet it's been in Zootopia. That's not to say crimes haven't happened - but it's also been a long time since something big has come their way. Work in the crime lab was slow. Tails wasn't complaining too much - when something critical struck, they'd generally be working overnights for a week trying to solve it in time.
So, another night passed, and the fox was sleeping soundly in his bed -- that is, until he heard a knock. Knock knock. Knock knock. Mumbling a bit, he shifted and listened.
The knocking wasn't stopping. Forcing himself out of bed with his PJs on, he shuffled to the door. With a potential earful ready for whoever was waking him up, he opened it, and begun to open his mouth.
And he looked down.
"Judy? It's three in the morning..."
