[Few things could fully catch the Demi-Fiend off guard thanks to his powers. Yet it was those same abilities that tended to go to his head, leading to a few ambushes. Not all of them were a true threat, but he really needed to stay on guard. Or at least his demonic army told him to do such a thing. But sometimes it was hard when traveling and being bored out his mind.

Then a certain day came. Just as Naoki was wandering some ruins, he felt his body freeze up, stopping fully as he tried to asses just what was going on. He blinked a few times, slowly moving his hand as the paralysis fought against his body.]
