Rules:
1. Post with your character. Label header with character name and canon/OC, and grade level or staff position.
2. AU them into the setting! They've always lived as a normal human, and are currently attending the high school. Or are just now attending.
3. Write a prompt for them with the AU so that others can tag you back.
4. Tag around to others, make new friends/tag with old ones, shenanigans, shipping, skipping classes, you name it! The only limitation is ~~something not normal~~ your imagination!
5. Have fun!

Keep in mind that:
- The principal is referred to as Principal Not-Appearing-In-This-School, because he's never around.
- This is a high school, not a college, so everyone's at school at the same time, there's usually 3-4 different lunch breaks depending on where you are in the school at lunch period.
- Threads in this test drive meme CAN be carried over as 'canon' to the musebox itself! So long as all parties involved are okay with this.
- Keep in mind the usual RP rules; IC /=/ OOC, no metagaming, no godmodding, be cool, treat your fellow players with respect.

[Gives a nod as he proceeded. As he shook off the sweat and as straightened himself up for the next one. Taking a breath before he went next.]

Yes sir!

[He nods, and when Lee goes again and takes his advice, he nods again with a smile.]

Better. Well done, Lee.

[Then, as another player went through the ladder, the coach went to give him some advice as well.]

[Arthur gave a smile in return and nodded. He did good! Yay!

Now keep it up, don't look like a dork. He got himself ready for the next turn. As he can hear another player behind him mutter 'show off' but he ignored it.]

[He could figure the whisperings going on between the players, and could guess pretty well what was being said.]

Focus on what you're doing, Robertson.

[He blew his whistle.]

All right, let's try going a bit faster. Let's move!

[Arthur moved faster as he beat the other players in the practice. He struggled a little but, he made it through. Trying his best to keep his back straight and focus. As soon as he beat his turn, he looked a bit out of breath. Wiping the sweat off his brow till his next turn. And he did it quick and efficiently, looking much better than some of the other members who seemed to be falling behind cause those few looking at Arthur funny.]

[As he watched the team practice the drills, the coach nodded a bit, giving advice where needed and praise when earned.]

Good hustle, Lee.

[Arthur nodded as he took the encouragement gladly. That is until one of the players waited till Arthur came back around and snuck his foot out, so he tripped. Smacking on to the ground, as he grunted and turned around to see who did that, but whoever did put on face acting like they didn't do anything. Arthur furrowed his brows as he got up, he knew someone did that, he's clumsy but he's not THAT clumsy.]

[Luckily the coach was very sharp when it came to what the team was doing. He blew his whistle sharply.]

I expect better from all of you. We're all members of the same team. If you can't act like a team, then you won't be a part of it. Got it?

[He wouldn't call out any names. He knew better than to single them out like that, if only because it would cause Arthur problems later on. But the responsible ones didn't escape his glare. It was easily to tell who the words were directed at.

The rest of his words were directed at the whole team, few that they were.]

Fifteen laps. Now.

[Oh he mad.

Arthur straightened up as he winced at the Coach's sharp calling outs. A sense of guilt came over him. He knew that people begged him to be on the team, but there were a fair few on the team that seemed to not like him when he joined. Confusing to him, but the other half of the team liked him just fine. It's always the bullies that seem to stand out sadly.

While the team grimaced they obeyed, the ones responsible then took turn to glare at Arthur, as if it was his fault. But he turned away from them, as he quickly went with the better half of the team to go run laps.]

[When they ran off, Steve breathed out sharply through his nose.

He'd have to have a talk with those boys later.

Once the team had finished running laps, practice went on as usual, and thankfully without any more little incidents. The coach then had them run a few more laps to cool down before sending them off the showers.]

Lee. Hang back a second.

[Once Arthur finished the laps, letting himself catch his breath before he was about to join the other guys. He heard his coach call him. Oh man, was he in trouble? Was it his fault the team needed to do laps? He couldn't help but instantly blame himself otherwise as he approached Steve.]

Y-Yes sir?

[He couldn't help smiling a bit. He knew that deer-in-the-headlights look.]

Relax, you're not in trouble.

[His shoulders relaxed as he closed his eyes for a moment to take breath of relief.]

Ah, um oh, alright.

[As he tilted his head ready to listen.]

[His eyes darted to the locker room where the other players voices could still be heard, even from there.]

You doing okay, Lee?

[Arthur breathed as he looked to the side. As he started to run through the list of stuff that might be wrong with him in his mind. Quite honestly too many things, but he's sure that's not...

As he looked at him with a somewhat troubled look.]

What do you mean?

[He nods towards the locker rooms.] The other players giving you a hard time.

[His voice became a bit soft at that as he realized what he's talking about.]

Oh... That yea.

[Arthur looked down in a bit of sad frustration.]

I-I dunno... I thought the team wanted me but-I mean most of them do but-I-I dunno, those guys don't really like me. I'm not sure why.

I'm not gonna say which one but... They keep getting angry that I don't join the guys at some of the parties they'll have outside school.

They keep insisting I think I'm better than them, I-I'm not I'm really... I'm really not. I don't even know why they say that it...

[He knew exactly who they were, but he didn't say anything either.]

Sometimes people just don't like others who are different. And no matter what you do, you might never change their mind. The important thing, though, is that you like what you're doing.

You're a good player, Lee. One of the best I've seen. But what do you think about it? Do you like football?

[Arthur listened to him quietly, yea he always felt different than some of the other guys. He didn't get excited about the same stuff they did really. He felt kinda bad about that sometimes honestly, but he knew it wasn't anything he could help.

He rubbed the back of his neck at that.]

Oh well yea, I do like it when I'm playing.

It's just more...

[Arthur looks down as he bit his lip slightly.]

I dunno, I feel like I'm being pushed to like the same stuff the other guys like-But, I'm... Really not into them, they like some of brash raunchy wild stuff and I really just like...

[Covers his face.]

You're gonna laugh.

[Arthur blushed a little in embarrassment as he looked down at his own feet.]

I... Really like Dungeons and Dragons, Science Fiction, Video Games, Comic conventions... S-Stuff like that.

... I kinda stand out in that crowd too, so it's kinda confusing.

[Mutters.]

But I just stand out anywhere so...

[He raises a curious brow at that.]

I'll admit, that's not really something I'm too familiar with...But as long as you're not hurting anyone, I don't see the problem with it.

Oh um, th-thanks.

[Rubs the back of his head.]

I guess it just-Well, I'm not bothered when they try to make fun of me for it or call me a nerd, it's just more when they try to get me to stop liking those things, I feel bothered.

Like I shouldn't be, but I can't change what I like, you know?

Right. And you shouldn't have to. There's nothing wrong with liking different things.

The problem is, some people don't really figure that out right away...if at all. The important thing is, you stay true to who you are.

Yeah! Yeah that's right!

[Gives soft smile at that as he nodded.]
