Test Drive Meme

Rules:
1. Post with your character. Label header with character name and canon/OC, and grade level or staff position.
2. AU them into the setting! They've always lived as a normal human, and are currently attending the high school. Or are just now attending.
3. Write a prompt for them with the AU so that others can tag you back.
4. Tag around to others, make new friends/tag with old ones, shenanigans, shipping, skipping classes, you name it! The only limitation is something not normal your imagination!
5. Have fun!

Keep in mind that:
- The principal is referred to as Principal Not-Appearing-In-This-School, because he's never around.
- This is a high school, not a college, so everyone's at school at the same time, there's usually 3-4 different lunch breaks depending on where you are in the school at lunch period.
- Threads in this test drive meme CAN be carried over as 'canon' to the musebox itself! So long as all parties involved are okay with this.
- Keep in mind the usual RP rules; IC /=/ OOC, no metagaming, no godmodding, be cool, treat your fellow players with respect.

Kyouko. [ She pulls out her own 3DS to play with while Amy starts, watching over the top of the console. ]

[She's doing pretty well - not quiiiiite as well as Kyouko, mind, but pretty close.]

[ Kyouko's duly impressed. She's just obsessive about practicing with this thing, that's the only reason she's as good as she is. ]

Whaddya like ta play? [ She messes with some Pokemon while she waits for her turn. ]

[Amy shrugs]

Lots of stuff. Gotta keep the gamerscore up and the Animal Crossing town happy, y'know? I... don't exactly get out much.

Yeah, me either. [ She waves her 3DS at Amy, which is colored like an NES. Not one of the easiest ones to find. ]

S'too bad, cause gamers're all th'same way, so they're harder ta find an' make friends with, ya know?

[She nods in appreciation. Dang, yo.]

Yeah. Guess setting up a DDR mat in the hallway's as good a way to find them as you can get, huh?

Sorta unintentionally.

Some games harder ta play with one, though. I mean, ya know. If ya wanna Smash sometime or whatever.

[ Closest Kyouko'll get to asking if she wants to be friends. ]

[ Kyouko nods, her eyes still on the DDR screen. ]

Yer pretty good yerself.

Plenty of practice.

[And the need to be Good Enough for Youtube, but she doesn't talk about how she's Amethyst at school on principle. Not at least until they've hung out for a little while.]

Hey, ya gotta kill time somehow. Not gonna be with th'work they give us here.

Fair enough. I mean I go to cons sometimes, but other than that I don't exactly have much in the way of hobbies.

Never been. [ She wants to, she just can't afford it. She checks her 3DS to see what Amy's Mii says she's been playing lately. ]

[amymethyst]

They're pretty fun if you ever get the chance.

[And the song ends. Just a few percent lower than Kyouko's! Not too shabby. And she's been playing Monster Hunter 4, it looks like!]

Ya cosplay?

[ Definitely pretty impressed by Amy's score. ]

[amymethyst]

Sometimes. I don't do anything super fancy, though.

[Cosplay's especially useful if she wants to spend time on the show floor. She's good at making masks, at this point.

And hey, DDR is kinda her jam, too, since it's one of the few games she can't really play for streams or LPs. All fun associations when it comes to DDR - and it lets her exercise without leaving the house, that doesn't hurt.]

Wonder if there's anythin' we could go as.

[ It's an idle thought, but definitely something she thinks about as she stuffs her 3DS away and takes up the reins at the DDR set-up again. She offers a cookie to Amy as she goes, handing it to her. ]

[She takes the cookie gladly.]

Dunno. There must be something. Magical girls, maybe? They don't usually come in pairs, but they're a pretty solid standard.

Oh, tha's a great idea!

[ She starts up another song, stepping to the beat as if she knows the level by heart. ]

[amymethyst]

I'll see if I can find some ideas.

[She watched. Damn, Kyouko's got her solidly beat at this. Amy was able to get close, but she's sweating and tired. Kyouko just makes it look effortless.]

Watched a buncha Sailor Moon as a kid. Ya could prob'ly do good as her.

[ She's fitter than she looks, and -- given her generally lazy behavior in classes -- than she acts, hitting nearly every arrow on the screen. ]

[She nods.]

That could work. You wouldn't make a bad Mars, either.

To be a magical girl? Sure. It'd probably be nice. A little dangerous, but definitely exciting.
