Fluff/Shipping - Naemiki (Naegi/Tsumiki) - Friday Night = Date Night?
[Naegi Makoto is your everyday, average high school student. Except for the occasional bouts of good luck, at the cost of personal bad luck. But any of his pretty fantastic friends at Hope's Peak could tell you that. He made friends decently well, even among some of his upperclassmen at the school.
And one of those students had begun to change his outlook on things. Her name was Tsumiki Mikan.
Until recently, he'd always said that he felt a little out of his league while attending the school. Not that he wasn't happy with the friends he made - just seeing the Super High School Level students that far outclassed him in almost every way had made his first year almost daunting. Over time he'd begun to ease up on that belief, realizing that most of his friends there were just your normal high school students like he was, except with something they were the best at.
And yet, his friendship with Tsumiki was almost as normal as could be - even more normal than he felt his friendship with Maizono was (but that was primarily because she was now an idol and he still felt she was far out of his league), and over time they'd begun to see each other more and more. Naegi, being as out of touch with having a crush on someone as he was, had hidden this fact from Tsumiki until recently, when they'd finally told each other their feelings for one another (after multiple trip-ups and failings to do so).
The others in their classes had, of course, seen this coming, and one of them suggested asking her out on an actual date - leaving the details up to Naegi. And, being as unfamiliar with this kind of situation as he was, decided to ask Tsumiki on a typical date - dinner, a movie, and maybe just walking around the park afterward, just to enjoy the outside air.
The date was set - Friday night - and once that day had come, he was prepared. There weren't any special plans - no dressing up nicely, no extra expenses considering they were both in high school - but that didn't seem to be an issue at all.
--
He arrives at Tsumiki's dorm door, and after hesitating for a few seconds, knocks on it a couple of times. He isn't as prepared as he'd like to be, but he hopes things will go over well.]
T-Tsumiki-san? It's Naegi.

S-s-sorry, Naegi-san! I didn't make you wait too long, did I?
[... Mikan you had like maybe fifteen seconds of a delay there. If Naegi looks past her into her dorm, he can also probably see what looks like a coat rack that may have been knocked over in her haste to answer the door.]

Are you ready to go? Need to grab anything first? [He'd offer to help, if so, but... he's not sure if she would allow anyone else in her room.]

[No need to keep Naegi waiting any longer for enough time to second guess going out on this date with us--she closes the door behind her and locks it quickly before turning her attention back to him as she manages a smile.]
S--shall we get going now?

He tries to think of things to talk about, but... he's not usually the greatest at small talk. Still, he figures out something.]
So... how have things been with your class?
no subject
[... yes this is apparently meant to be an accomplishment and sign that the people in her class like her???]
What about your class, Naegi-san?
no subject
That's good to hear. [With an implied 'hopefully it'll stop soon' in terms of the bullying the poor girl has to deal with.] It's been pretty uneventful in my case. Most of us still get along pretty great.

[As they're walking here, Mikan finds herself looking down toward Naegi's hand at his side here--most people hold hands on dates, right? Would that mean it's alright to ask about holding Naegi's hand, or--oh no, is that too presumptuous of her to even think of something like that??]
