1. first day
Catch up with old friends, brave new teachers, fight your way through the sea of students, and hope you're in the right classroom. Oh, you're the new kid. Well, that's okay as long as you've got more than enough summer vacation anecdotes to fill ten pages of Times New Roman size 12, single-spaced.

2. first period
You're gonna be late! Or are you already there? Class hasn't started just yet, so chat it up or copy your classmate's homework before the teacher gets here.

3. truth or dare
You've been pulled into a game of truth or dare! Is it innocent or not so much? A group, or just two or three? (Feel free to NPC others if it's more than 2! After all, it's truth or dare.)

4. pranks
You know what's more fun than class and homework? Pranks, of course! Are you doing this alone or are others in o your plans? Make sure not to actually burn the school down!

5. lunch break
Man, you are starving. Hopefully, today's menu has something good. If the crowded cafeteria's not your thing, try the rooftop.

6. hooky
One of you is skipping class. You should try talking them out of it if that's your thing. Or join them!

7. detention
What on earth did you do to get this? Oh well. Detention can't be that bad when you've got all these very nice, approachable model students around to talk to.

Baseball, basketball, dodgeball - no matter the sport, just remember: you are the star. It's you. At least, you hope it is.

Sewing! Cooking! ... Try not to cause a fire!

Frog dissections! Explosions! (Mostly explosions, right?)

Oh boy, oh boy, being the star of this play is your dream. It isn't? Oh. You're still helping with the props and costumes, right?

Not when someone's here to help you out. (This can go either way - one of the participants can be the bully or someone helping the victim.)

You're having trouble with a class or you're trying to make up for the days you were absent. It's a good thing someone was nice enough to offer their assistance.

Get to school. Get your locker number, get your classes, get your books, get moving for the first glorious day. Enough to leave a boy full of ennui, as summer's promise gave way to another run of bitter routine...

Right until he saw, just three lockers down from his own, a shock of red hair that after a moment of further looking turned out to be a shockingly attractive girl. Klavier wasted no time, banging his locker shut so he could lean one shoulder against it.

"Fräulein?"

What makes you think I was trying to run away? :D

Coming into a public high school was a little terrifying. Over the years, her mother kept encouraging her to take the step to try a public school over home schooling. With her hearing condition, it had been hard to adjust to hearing emotions like this, but the headphones that her mother made specifically for her did help; even if they were uncomfortable to wear at first. It took some time before she could manage without the headphones, but here she was trying her best.

Her mother did her best to support the two of them and while working for GYAXA paid pretty well, she wanted to do the best she could to help her mom out somehow. She'd thankfully gotten over feeling like she was just some covenant test subject for her mother and started to understand why she was doing what she did. She just wished she had more time to spend with Athena. As a good luck charm, she'd given her a pretty moon earring that apparently had some sort of significance. If nothing else, she felt like her mother was sort of here with her.

Finding out what locker she had, the combination, the class schedule, and where they were took her some time. The other students around her seemed to have it down so well. She must have looked weird and out of place. She felt like it, anyways. First period for the day and she was just trying to calm herself down internally. She could do this. She had her headset off, but it was lying around her neck just in case she needed it. At least the teachers were informed about it, though she doubted many of them really understood the reason why. They probably thought it was some sort of joke, but if the principle was okaying it, they couldn't say anything about it.

Hearing the locker shut near her, she jumped slightly, Was... somebody talking to her? Closing her locker shut lightly after grabbing what she needed she turned to look to see who was addressing her. Was that... German? She'd been fluent enough in it thanks to her family, but it was certainly a surprise to hear it here.

"Uhm... Sprichst du mit mir*?" she responded back, feeling a little timid. Getting a good look at him....Oh man. He was attractive and talking to her? He seemed like one of those popular kid she's heard that public schools had. With looks like that, she wouldn't doubt that. But he was talking to a random girl who's never been to a public school before? Did she really stand out that much?

Klavier's eyes widened slightly when she addressed him right back auf Deutsch. Were there some sound effects underlying their basic existence, this would have merited an audible 'ping'.

But Klavier didn't ever lose his cool for too long, and when his lazy grin came back it was all the wider for the girl. Her attractiveness had just gone up about sevenfold!

"Natürlich," he said, idly tugging a lock of his hair free to play with it while he regarded her. "Because you're very pretty, but now also because I really want to get to know you. You speak one of my languages, after all."

Was this normal? Did people normally hit on you on your first day of school? Well, being stuck in a space station for so long with minimal human contact really made this whole experience that much more effective.

Did he really call her pretty? Why was he so attractive? Why would he like her of all people? She was so boring compared to the others she's already seen around. ... Okay maybe not boring in context, but as a general feeling. Her heart fluttered to the compliment as he cheek flushed a light red.

"O-Oh um... I... I didn't expect anyone here to speak German," she finally managed to get something out that sounded like a coherent sentence.

"Neither did I. Not when they don't even have the classes." A brief frown crossed his face, but it vanished swiftly enough, barely a ruffle. "I was in European schools for most of my schooling. Hearing you talk takes me back."

Well, whatever she might think -- she unquestionably had his whole attention and interest. None of the bustle around them took his gaze off her, though people here and there shouted hellos and got lazy waves from him in return. Plenty of time to catch up with people he already knew later, what few of them he hadn't shot texts to all summer. Now was the time to make a new friend.

"R-Really? I lived abroad with family here and there myself," it was never longer than a year or anything, but enough to get the gist of it. If she hadn't studied abroad, she had also visited her family enough over the years.

"U-Umm... H-hi. I'm Athena," she finally said, offering a hand. That's what you did right? WHY WAS TALKING TO REAL PEOPLE SO HARD? She needed to go home and play with Ponco again...

Daisy tapped her foot on the floor, staring at the clock. Stupid detention... She saw one kid being pushed around, and decided that the appropriate response was to sock the bully right in the face. So naturally, HE ended up with a bloody nose, and DAISY was the one to get punished. Where's the justice in it? At least she only had another hour to go...

Being a studious person, anyone who knew Gohan would find it strange that he, of all people, was in detention. But it was something the teachers had to do, what with how much class he had missed in the last week alone. (Taking care of crime around the city undercover wasn't easy!) And so, he was using the time to catch up on the pop quizzes and schoolwork he'd missed. At least they were nice enough to let him do that.

Seeing Daisy, he gave a small wave. "Oh, hey. I saw what happened. Hopefully that bully will finally leave him alone, now."

"He'd better," Daisy replied. "I'm not afraid to throw another punch if I have to!" she added, voice lowered so that their supervisor wouldn't hear. "What are YOU doing in here? You're like... the model student."

"I, uh. Missed some class." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "You know, stuff goes on." Some crime-fighting takes forever.

"They're letting me catch up on what I missed, though." Probably only because of him being a good student.

"Missed some class?" Daisy asked. "Must've missed a LOT of class to end up here with someone who punched a classmate." She turned in her chair and offered her hand. "Hi, I'm Daisy."
