Test Drive Meme

Rules:
1. Post with your character. Label header with character name and canon/OC, and grade level or staff position.
2. AU them into the setting! They've always lived as a normal human, and are currently attending the high school. Or are just now attending.
3. Write a prompt for them with the AU so that others can tag you back.
4. Tag around to others, make new friends/tag with old ones, shenanigans, shipping, skipping classes, you name it! The only limitation is something not normal your imagination!
5. Have fun!

Keep in mind that:
- The principal is referred to as Principal Not-Appearing-In-This-School, because he's never around.
- This is a high school, not a college, so everyone's at school at the same time, there's usually 3-4 different lunch breaks depending on where you are in the school at lunch period.
- Threads in this test drive meme CAN be carried over as 'canon' to the musebox itself! So long as all parties involved are okay with this.
- Keep in mind the usual RP rules; IC /=/ OOC, no metagaming, no godmodding, be cool, treat your fellow players with respect.

Miles "Tails" Prower | Sonic the Hedgehog | Junior year

[Miles may be his actual first name, but he adopted the nickname 'Tails' due to having a near obsession with flying. Not himself flying, of course, but building planes and attempting to get them to fly. He's had quite a bit of success, and even has his own emblem of two fox tails, showing an acceptance of the nickname given to him by his friends. It just stuck. (Plus, he never liked the name 'Miles'. He got made fun of for it.)

He can be easily found in any of the computer or robotics labs, or at the Robotics Club, or at the library... or even just walking around the hallways.]

[Sonic claps his buddy on the shoulder, grinning as usual. He's wearing his trademark neckerchief, something he adopted after he developed a love of testing his younger friend's flying machines - same as his own nickname.

As per usual, he's also come out of nowhere in the hallway with absolutely no warning, but Tails is pretty used to that by now - except when he's not.]

Got some extra time to help me with my Calc homework during lunch? I tried to get one of the other nerds to do it for me, but none of them are as nerdy as you.

[It's a compliment Tails, really.]

[Dangit Sonic, managed to startle Tails again. You'd think he'd be used to this by now!]

Hey, Sonic. ... And sure, I can help you with your homework. [Good thing he sees the word 'nerd' as a good thing...]

[In true Sonic fashion, he hardly even notices Tails' reaction.]

Great! What class are you headed to?

Advanced Physics. [Which was a fun class for him, but it came with quite a bit of homework!] What about you?

[Sonic rolls his eyes.]

Boooooooring. What's the point of learning about anything but going forward, anyway?

[Sonic this is why you're not in Advanced Physics with Tails. You never learned the math about stopping.]

Okay, so there is a point. But that's why you're around, right?

One person can't prepare everything for the future, Sonic.

Yeah, but you're good at everything. So what's the big deal?

It'd be better if we had more people like that?

Tails, let's be honest here. Do you really want me of all people to be the one preparing for anything?

[No, but it'd be nice if Sonic wasn't attempting to shirk every responsibility thrown his way.]

The more people we have trying to help, the better. Even you doing that would be helping more than hurting.

[... Tails tilts his head a little, and waves his hand in front of Sonic's face.]

Uhh... Sonic?

[A few more moments of blank staring, and then Sonic snaps out of it.]

[He blinks a couple times.]
