Test Drive Meme

Rules:
1. Post with your character. Label header with character name and canon/OC, and grade level or staff position.
2. AU them into the setting! They've always lived as a normal human, and are currently attending the high school. Or are just now attending.
3. Write a prompt for them with the AU so that others can tag you back.
4. Tag around to others, make new friends/tag with old ones, shenanigans, shipping, skipping classes, you name it! The only limitation is something not normal your imagination!
5. Have fun!

Keep in mind that:
- The principal is referred to as Principal Not-Appearing-In-This-School, because he's never around.
- This is a high school, not a college, so everyone's at school at the same time, there's usually 3-4 different lunch breaks depending on where you are in the school at lunch period.
- Threads in this test drive meme CAN be carried over as 'canon' to the musebox itself! So long as all parties involved are okay with this.
- Keep in mind the usual RP rules; IC /=/ OOC, no metagaming, no godmodding, be cool, treat your fellow players with respect.

S'just math. [ She'll get chewed out by Ms. Prince later. She turns around to face Coach Rogers. ] Sure.

With a nod forward, he heads off towards the field.]

[He doesn't name specifics, and he won't push any farther than that. But it's a gentle reminder.]

[ She's quiet for a little while as they walk. ]

[ She shakes her head. ] Some people get ignored. Tha's jus' how things work.

Does it matter? [ She snaps. ] At least I get ta go to school.

[He raises another curious brow at the tone; not because she had it, but because of what it told him that she wasn't saying.]

Sounds like you think it does as much as I do.

[ Kyouko shrugs. ] No one should haveta go hungry.

[ Her stomach rumbles again. ]

[He figured as much, but getting confirmation doesn't make it any easier.]

You know...if you get to school early enough, they serve breakfast at the cafeteria.

Yeah? [ She didn't know that.

She sighs. ] S'not me 'm worried abou'.

[ She nods. ] Someones.

Family? Or just others you know?

[He nods.] If you need it...I know a couple of places that could help.

[ Kyouko's hesitant. Should she be taking help from strangers? But then again, she knows Coach Rogers. ]

[ She breaks. A couple of tears well up in her eyes without her wanting them to. ] Pr... probably take ya up on tha'.

[Looking up as they were making their way down the hall and nods towards the girls' restroom as they were approaching it.]

Why don't you take a minute? I've gotta grab something before heading out to the field.

[ Kyouko doesn't need to be suggested it twice. She breaks off from the direction they're walking, and escapes into the bathroom. Stupid. Embarrassing. She slaps herself in the face, and then splashes water on it. Why does she feel so miserable? Why does she feel so out of control of her entire life? ]

[It doesn't matter how long she's in there, when she comes out the coach is there. At least it looks like he'd been busy, though, carrying a box and just passing by when she comes back out again.]

[ Kyouko seriously considers not going back out. But she does, and there's the coach. ] Wha's tha'.

[He shifts the box, hoisting it up so he's carrying it over his shoulder.]

Just some old sports equipment. Gotta take it out to get repaired.

[Reaching into his pocket, he handed her a folded note.]
