[Tails got his lunch, sat at the table with two of his friends, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. Lately, for some odd reason, he had been finding himself looking over at her, and sometimes noticing that she's looking over at him. He smiled, she smiled, nothing seemed odd about it. But for some really peculiar reason, looking at her made his heart start beating faster, and sometimes his cheeks burned a little as well. He didn't really understand it, so he wrote it off as just being happy to be her friend. And maybe that's just how she felt back, right?

Well, it looked like a certain cupid in pink had a job to do that day, because this had been going on for quite some time now...]

[And for the next length of time, the teens work hard on hammering out a final outline for the paper. They even manage to type a few sentences onto the main document! In what seems like no time at all, Pinkie gets a call on her phone.]

Oh, pizza's here~! Be right back, you two!

[And after Pinkie left, Tails couldn't help looking over to Fluttershy, the drawings on the back of the paper still in his mind. Still trying to figure out what it all meant.

He just couldn't get it out of his head.]

[Glancing at Tails, Fluttershy blushed a bit when she caught his eye and glanced away, the drawings still on her mind as well.]

[He felt his own face heat up and he looked away as well, down at the table. So strange.]

[Before they can actually SAY anything though, Pinkie starts heading their way again, the steam of the tasty, tasty pizza trailing in her wake.]

Whoooo's hungry~?

[Fluttershy can't help breathing a soft sigh of relief. She wasn't sure why she was starting to feel so nervous around Tails well...more than usual anyway, but it was suddenly hard being alone with him.]

I-I'll have a little...

[Tails was definitely relieved at Pinkie's arrival, too.]

Me three! And we've been working SO hard I thought I'd get some extra things~

[And indeed, stacked on top of the pizza box in a smaller box, with three even smaller boxes stacked on top of it. And there's even a large bottle of root beer hanging from Pinkie's grasp.]

I got some garlic parm breadstick, root beer, aaaaaand those little mini lava cakes~!

[Wait, didn't this pizzeria's lava cakes always come in the shape of... a heart?]

[They did, but it's chocolate and sugar, so Fluttershy isn't all that surprised that Pinkie got them.]
